While Reading
(15 minutes)
Reading text and identify new vocabulary.
  1. Teacher reads the text and instructs pupils listen to the pronunciation.
  2. Teacher reads the text loudly and students follow to read with the guidance of the teacher.
  3. The teacher teaches the student how to spell correctly for the new vocabulary from the text.
4.    Teacher distributes the worksheets to   
        the pupils.
      5.    Pupils follow the teacher’s instruction
             and take turn to complete the task    
             given.

Post-Reading

Draw a picture of your family.
  1. Teacher ask pupils to draw a picture of their family members
  2. Pupils introduce their family by showing the picture drawn.
  3. Teacher can guide the pupils with question.
  4. Teacher revises the day’s lesson.


To get pupils to be proactive and to put their interest into reading

Closure

Recap by singing a song entitled ‘ Happy family’

  1. Teacher gets pupils to sing a song “Happy Family”.
  2. Teacher summarizes the meanings of happily family.

To end the lesson with some excitement.
